Strongest Governor · checked 2026-08-07

Strongest Governor is won before it starts.

Seven days, one theme per day. You do not win it by playing more that week. You win it by having saved the right things and spending them on the right day.

Short version

  • Mithril is worth 40,000 points each. Nothing else comes close. Never use one outside the event.
  • Tempered Truegold: 30,000. Advanced Taming Mark: 15,000.
  • Speedups are 30 points a minute whatever you speed up. A day of saved speedups beats a week of playing.
  • Spend on the matching day only. A Mithril used on a construction day scores nothing.
  • Check the point table on the event screen. Values shift between versions.

The point values that decide it

Everything below is one action. Sorted by what it pays:

Look at the gap. One Mithril outscores 1,333 minutes of speedups. If you have Mithril and you are not top of the leaderboard, you spent it on the wrong day or outside the event.

Troop training, per troop

Troop level10987654321

Higher-level troops pay more per troop but cost more per troop. If your training queue is the bottleneck, train the highest level you can. If resources are the bottleneck, the lower tiers give more points per resource.

The seven days

The usual rotation:

DayThemeSpend
1ConstructionTempered Truegold, Truegold, construction speedups
2Hero developmentMithril, Widgets, Roulette spins, Forgehammers, shards
3Basic skillsTaming Marks, pet advancement
4Troop trainingTraining speedups, queued batches
5Basic skillsWhatever you held back from day 3
6Troop trainingSecond batch of training speedups
7Hero development and gatheringRemaining hero materials, gathering marches

Confirm this against your own event screen. Guide sites disagree about which of days 3 and 5 is skills and which is training, and the order shifts between kingdoms and versions. The point values are stable; the day order is not.

What to save, starting now

The event runs on a cycle, so there is always a next one. Treat these as event-only currency:

The cost of playing normally is invisible. Upgrading a building with Truegold on a Tuesday for no reason throws away 30,000 points you will not notice missing until the leaderboard closes.

Checklist

  1. Open the event screen and read the live point table. Values change between versions.
  2. Note which day is which in your kingdom. Do not assume the order above.
  3. Count your Mithril, Tempered Truegold and Taming Marks before day 1.
  4. Spend nothing on the wrong day, even if the day looks slow.
  5. Queue troops and buildings so they finish on the matching day.

Point values pooled from event tables published by several guide sites, which agree on the large values and differ on the Governor Charm figure. Day order varies by kingdom and version. Last checked .
